How do I know if my international degree is the equivalent to a US Bachelors degree?

If your degree is from outside of the US you must have it evaluated to determine if your degree is the equivalent to a US Bachelors degree.

A US Bachelors degree usually takes 4 years to complete. That is 8 semesters with 5 or more classes each semester.

Two methods are available to evaluate your degree:

  1. Some international transcripts can be evaluated in-house. If our internal evaluator can evaluate your transcripts, then you will not need to obtain a NACES evaluation. If you would prefer that your transcripts are evaluated in house, you will need to contact the University where you earned your bachelors degree and request that they send your official transcript. We must receive an official transcript to complete the admissions process. All documents written and issued in a foreign language must have a certified English translation attached.

Official transcripts must be sent to:
ATTN: Registrar
EC-Council University
101 C Sun Ave NE
Albuquerque, NM 87109, USA

  1. If our evaluator cannot evaluate your transcript you must have the transcript evaluated by an evaluator who is a member of NACES. You must choose an evaluator who is a member of NACES to complete the evaluation. A list of evaluators can be found on the NACES website. http://www.naces.org/members.htmlThe evaluator must send the results of the evaluation directly to ECCU.

Remember to have the degree evaluation include your GPA.

Official evaluation results must be sent directly to:

EC-Council University

Albuquerque, NM 87109, USA
